Consultant.  Many years experience as a Caregiver and Supervisor.  


Direct Caregivers Duties and Responsibilities


The Caregiver will be responsible for the day to day assistance with any assigned care that has been identified in the consumer’s service plan.

The Caregiver will maintain accurate time sheets

 Any  unusual occurrence within the home , or whenever the consumer is under the care of the caregiver will be immediately  reported to a director,  Human Resources,  clinician, or supervisor.

The Caregiver will only operate in a professional and courteous manner.

The Caregiver will give adequate notice when he/she is not available for his/ her shift.

The Caregiver will be familiar with the consumers’ behavioral, physical and emotional needs based on collateral information provided by his /her supervisor as well as ongoing direct observation of the consumer.

The Caregiver will attend required training sessions.

Minimum qualifications:

Must be 21 years of age and have worked a minimum of one year with an individual who is developmentally disabled. Must also have a current California drivers’  license and clean driving history as well as a clean criminal record and First Aid and CPR Training.
